Lotus Clinics of Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture is the trading name of Lotus Alliance Wellbeing C.I.C., which is a Community Interest (not-for-profit) and self-supportive Company.

We have three core areas of service that we are passionate about, two of which are none-business activities, and one business activity which is the Chinese Medicine clinic. We call them Prevent, Treat, and Connect. For details about the CIC company, please refer to our Community Interest page.

1.⁠ ⁠In Prevent, we teach Qigong exercises, practical health tips, and free TCM consultations in Camberley Town Centre — helping people enhance their wellbeing naturally.

2.⁠ ⁠We Treat using a range of traditional Chinese medicine therapies across our three clinic models: the Beauty & Wellness Clinic, the General Health Clinic, and the Expert Doctors Clinic, which specialises in treating complex or hard-to-classify health conditions.

3.⁠ ⁠We Connect by supporting the local ageing community through our weekly lunch gatherings and shared living initiatives, fostering companionship and holistic wellbeing.

Our Chinese Medicine clinic consists with three levels or models which are: the Chinese Medicine Beauty and Wellbeing Clinic, the General Health Clinic, and the Chinese Medicine Specialist Clinic.

- In our Chinese Medicine health clinic, we offer 1-to-1 tailored treatment sessions with Acupuncture and TCM herbal medicine, and group setting community treatments for protocol - based treatments like the NADA ear acupuncture, and the Qian's Tianyi (Heavenly Medicine) Acupuncture. Each session normally lasts for up to one hour.

- In the Chinese Medicine Beauty and Wellbeing Clinic we offer Chinese Medicine beauty therapies and health maintenance including the repetitive moxibustion or acupuncture treatments, also the Meridian Treatment. Treatment per session lasts from 30 to 60 minutes. Beauty therapies' time may vary. For details of each type of therapy please refer to Therapies page.

- Our Chinese Medicine Specialist clinic is a high-profile clinic designed specially for difficult, stubborn, complex or unclassified health conditions, which often reached the limit of or can't be treated by Western medicine. With the different approach of Chinese Medicine, also by gathering a team of top-level TCM doctors in the UK, we hope to present the patients with some alternative options, and improved confidence and means to tackle their sufferings. All these clinic models use Traditional Chinese Medicine modalities whichever we see best suit the patients, like Chinese acupuncture, Chinese herbal formulas (individually tailored), moxibustion, Cupping, Guasha, Bone Setting (Oriental Osteopathy), Qigong, Acupressure and Tuina massage...

Ms. Ching Yi Wong was educated at Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine, China, where she graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM).

She has over 10 years of experience in TCM, beginning her career in 2011 at a Chinese Medicine Clinic in Hong Kong. Throughout her career, she has gained extensive expertise in various conditions, such as back pain, digestive disorders, insomnia and more, using a combination of acupuncture, herbal medicine, and cupping therapy.

Erica was born in a family of 6 generations of Chinese medicine but when she was younger she took no interest in Chinese medicine. Like most young people, she thought illnesses belong to other people. Not until she turned the age of 40 and got a health scare, she realised the importance of health and the role of prevention.

She then decided to learn Chinese medicine and set her life goal to promote Chinese Medicine philosophy of 'Prevention is more important than treating disease' in the local community.

Erica studied 4 years of Chinese acupuncture in the renowned College of Integrated Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture, Kingston University. Her graduation dissertation topic was about the role of moxibustion as a self-management therapy for elderly arthritis.

In addition to acupuncture, Erica also acquired some other amazing skills such as the Untra-light Bone Setting (Oriental Osteopathy), Qigong, Beauty therapies with Chinese Medicine, and DaiYin AnQiao acupoints treatment.

Another mission Erica set for herself is to support elderly's well-being who live alone. She manages a series of activities for the single-living elderly at her premises. She is also a befriending volunteer of the Surrey Heath Age Concern Charity.

Liu QuanJun

TCM Practitioner, Herbalist and Acupuncturist

Liu started learning traditional Chinese herbal medicine at a young age from his mother. Later, he graduated from the Department of Sports and Martial Arts at Wuhan Institute of Physical Education, also graduated from the Anhui Province Hefei High-Tech Traditional Chinese Medicine College.

He's the closing disciples of Mao Lisheng, a bone-setting expert from the Emei School, and Sun Zongqi, a traditional Chinese medicine expert in rheumatology and orthopaedics.

He's also the direct disciples of a ‘Guoqi Lama’ from the Tibetan White Sect., and a direct disciple of Chen Xiaowang, the 19th-generation master of Chen Family Tai Chi. He's a council member of the Chenjiagou Tai Chi Association in China.

He's the founder of Liu’s Qigong Acupressure Massage, the second-generation inheritor of the Great Compassion Wisdom Divine Skill, the initiator and designer of the First International Chinese Traditional Culture and Health Exchange Conference.

Other than the clinic treatments, Dr Liu also teaches Qigong and Taichi in London and in Camberley, Surrey.

Dr. Xu, Yunqiu

Chinese Medicine Herbalist

Graduated from Nanjing TCM University with a Bachelor degree in Clinical Science in 1969, Dr. Xu has been practicing TCM for over 50 years. She started practicing TCM in the UK since 2002 and set up her own practice in 2008 in Richmond. During her 20 years of practice in the U.K., Dr. Xu has treated a number of chronic and difficult conditions with distinctively positive clinical results, especially in treating gastrointestinal disorders, gynaecology, infertility and skin disorders.
During her early years of practice, Dr. Xu earned a great reputation through initiating the concept of tailor-made herbal tea to treat the local flood-led epidemics of bacteria dysentery and acute jaundice hepatitis during a period of supply shortage of antibiotics, effectively controlling the spread of the epidemics.

Dr. Xu was a doctor-in-charge in several leading hospitals in China and carried out treatments for various acute and chronic diseases, many with distinct results.

Before retirement in China, Dr. Xu worked as a director for the Ministry of Health in China , in charge of Post-graduate and Post-doctorate Education in TCM. Dr. Xu currently also serves as the vice chairman for the Specialty Committee of Paediatrics of World Federation of Chinese Medicine Societies.

Master Mao, Zhengyu

Official inheritor of DaoyinAnqiao Treatment

(patented in China), DYAQ practitioner and professsor

Master Mao, Zhengyu studied under Professor Fu, Qinzeng, a winner of the World Famous Doctor Award and the famous inheritor of "DaoyingAnqiao (DYAQ) treatment". The widow of Professor Fu, Master Mao practiced medicine with Fu for many years and traveled extensively with Professor Fu for academic and clinical visits. Through decades of practice, she inherited the true essence of DYAQ treatment from professor Fu!

Professor Fu had superb medical skills and had treated many national leaders when he was alive, and was known as the modern "Imperial Physician". As the official inheritor of DYAQ technique, Master Mao has noble medical ethics and superb medical skills. She has cured numerous difficult and serious illnesses around the world. Now, she is committed to making the ancient medical technique of DYAQ known to the world and benefiting all mankind, which is also Professor Fu's last wish.

DYAQ treatment is a self-treatment therapy, but diagnosis, points prescription is given by Master Mao herself in Beijing China, while as the treatments and points training are done by Erica Chen in our clinic.
